je sais pas si tu connais glocals.com? Il y a des fois des coffee mornings au Starbucks pour "moms and moms2be" donc des femmes anglophones ou internationales qui sont des jeunes mamans ou enceintes. Tu en trouves sous "activities" si tu fais une rechèrche sur l'endroit.
Si jamais c'est trop mal expliqué, redis-moi et j'essaierai de faire mieux :)
Si tu est libre les mardi matins, il y a aussi le "MOPS" (mothers of pre-schoolers) à Nyon, tout en anglais et une ambience bien sympa - les enfants jouent avec des autres loulous de leur âge, puis les mamans s'échangent, font des petits bricolages,.... plus d'info: http://www.westlake.ch/site/what_we_do/QC.htm

actually, when I came to Switzerland, I was working as a nanny, looking after 3 children that went to school, so I was free on Tuesday mornings and was taking care of the eldest MOPS group, doing games and crafts. The moms going there were either English speaking (mainly US & GB) but also local CH that spoke well and/or were living in bi- or multilingual families but their kids are no longer preschoolers by now...
Don't hesitate to contact them - it's always worth trying and you got nothing to loose, only an experience to make ;) In the worst case you've wasted some time, in the best won a couple of friends and encourage your mother tongue.
About glocals, there is also a lot of Lausanne-based people (member Julien_T was founding that section and could tell you more about LOL (Lausanne OnLine).

i live in carrouge vd néear moudon, i am 15 minutes from lausanne, and have a daugther whos 2 years and 7 months old, and i dont know much mums around here with kids.. ??
