Hello all,
I will be going on vacation in a few weeks for a long weekend and the microwave sterililser that I use now is too big & awkward to carry with me. Does anyone know of something else I could use ? I have heard of sterilising bags - can I get these in Switzerland ?
Thanks,
Siobhan
If you can't find anything
If you can't find anything else, you can always do it the old fashioned way and boil them!

I know I could boil them but in a hotel, its just not possible - might try to get the sterilising tabs as otherwise suggested :)
sterilising tabs on droguery for 12.-CHF are available and very
practical.
you musst use it with cold water.
Thanks beirao17
Do you know which droguery I would find them or do all pharmacies have them ?
At Sunstore for sure!
Great, thanks a million,

Sterilising tabs, this is
Sterilising tabs, this is what I've been using so far! You just need to manually wash everything beforehand, prepare some water in a bowl with the tab (not all of it, depends of the quantity of water you put in the bowl), and leave your items to sterilize min. 30 min. The tablets I'm using are called Sterinova, you'll find them in most pharmacies. :-)

thanks Melanie78
brilliant - thanks for the name of the tabs, makes it easier to look for them :)) I will try to get those.
BTW...is it ok to leave the bottles in the tabs all night ? (just to know)
Not sure it's recommended,
Not sure it's recommended, but I have personnally left them several times all night, and did not have any problem with that! ;-) The most important is to leave them at least 30 min, then the only inconvenient I see is that the "tétine" could get used faster if it stays too long in the water....

How old is your baby? Unless
How old is your baby? Unless your child was born premature, or with a weak immune system, you don't need to sterilise the bottles! Wash them carefully, it's enough!
cachel, maman country!
